LEVEL: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

PREREQUISITES: Must know how to cast on, knit, purl, join in the round, and read a pattern. 

CLASS DESCRIPTION: 

This class is ideal for knitters who are ready to jump into the world of cables! Join us to learn how to read a cable chart and create cables.

Please complete the ribbing ahead of class so you are ready to begin the cables.

MATERIALS:

• Stitch markers

• Cable needle or stitch holder

• Needles: US 7 - 4.5 mm and US 6 - 4.0 mm, 16” circulars or DPNs

• Yarn: Worsted weight: 200 - 240 yards (183 - 219 m)

• We recommend Loopy Mango Dream (two balls) or Malabrigo Rios (one ball for size 1, two balls for size 2)

• Materials are available for purchase at A Yarn Market

POLICIES

• Class fee does not include the yarn or needles. Materials are available at A YARN MARKET for purchase before class.

• Classes require a minimum of three participants to be conducted. If fewer than three participants are enrolled, a private lesson may be offered, or the class fee will be credited back to you.

• No refunds. Please note that missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. 

• Class dates are contingent upon weather conditions; extreme weather may necessitate rescheduling.
