Pinecone Top-Down Knit Cardigan Class (2-part Class Fee) - Saturday October 10th + 17th, 1:00 to 2:00p

LEVEL: Adventurous Intermediate

PREREQUISITES: Must know how to cast on, knit, and purl.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: 

This two-part class will walk students through creating the Loopy Mange Pinecone Top-Down cardigan. During the first class, we will walk through the pattern and construction of the garment, then get started casting on. In the second class, we will walk through any difficulties students have experienced while working on their cardigans, discuss final steps, and address any lingering questions.

Students will not finish their project in class, but will have all of the information they’ll need to do so!

Please have your yarn and pattern ready to go by the start of class. If you’re feeling ambitious, you’re welcome to get started on the project before the first class and come ready with questions!

DATES: This is a two-part class. October 10 and October 17, 2026 from 1:00-2:00p

PATTERN:

Pinecone Top-Down Cardigan by Loopy Mango (available for free with Loopy Mango yarn purchase at A Yarn Market).

Please print or download your pattern ahead of class. We do not have a printer available for class use.

MATERIALS:

• Yarn: Loopy Mango Dream

• Needles

• US 10 (6 mm) circular needles, 32” - required

• US 10 (6 mm) circular needs, 16” or DPNs - optional

• This project can be completed with just the 32” circulars by using Magic loop. To avoid magic loop, you can use the 16” circulars or DPNs.

• Stitch markets

• Tapestry needle

• Highlighter to help with pattern tracking

All materials are available for purchase at A Yarn Market. Please purchase materials and choose yarn color prior to class. We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early to wind your yarn in store, or winding yarn at the store when you purchase beforehand. Store hours can be located here. 

POLICIES

• Class fee does not include the yarn or needles. Materials are available at A YARN MARKET for purchase before class.

• Classes require a minimum of three participants to be conducted. If fewer than three participants are enrolled, a private lesson may be offered, or the class fee will be credited back to you.

• No refunds. Please note that missed classes are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. 

• Class dates are contingent upon weather conditions; extreme weather may necessitate rescheduling.
